What are the cancellation conditions in the event of an officially ordered closure?
If there is a new lockdown and an associated official closure, the following conditions apply: Bookings that are not made will be 100% refunded. For bookings that have already been made, the refund applies to overnight stays that have not yet been made. Any down payments made will be offset against future vacation in the form of a credit.
What happens if I get Covid-19 before my arrival or if I am in a state-ordered quarantine?
What if I feel uncomfortable during my stay or have had contact with someone who may be infected?
If you suspect infection, we ask you to avoid further contact with other people and to inform the reception team. A reimbursement of the accommodation costs is unfortunately not possible in the event of illness.
We therefore recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance before starting your trip in order to protect yourself in the event of a cancellation of your stay.
What reimbursement will I get when the borders with Switzerland are closed?
For people who arrive from abroad and cannot enter due to the official closure of the borders and / or on the BAG list (https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/de/home/krankheiten/ausbrueche-epidemien- pandemics / current-outbreaks-epidemics / novel-cov / recommendations-for-travelers / quarantaene-einreise.html), the following conditions apply: Any bookings not made will be 100% refunded. Any down payments made will be offset against future vacation in the form of a credit.
Please note, however, that we can only take into account your actual country of origin, in which you have your permanent residence. If, for private or business reasons, you are in a country that is not your country of origin and you are therefore unable to travel to Switzerland, the cancellation of your stay will be charged according to our official cancellation conditions or the conditions that are stored on our online platforms.
The following cancellation conditions apply to direct bookings:
Cancellation 0 - 1 days before arrival: 100% of your booked stay
Cancellation 1 - 7 days before arrival: 75% of your booked stay
Cancellation 7-14 days before arrival: 50% of your booked stay
Cancellation 14-30 days before arrival: 25% of your booked stay
What happens if the canton of Graubünden is put on the list of countries for mandatory quarantine after returning home?
Since it is generally possible to arrive in such a case, there is no entitlement to a refund. We therefore recommend that you take out travel insurance to be on the safe side. However, 100% of the cancellation amount to be paid will be credited to you for a future holiday in our hotel within 1 year.
What happens if your country of origin is placed on the list of countries for mandatory quarantine after entering Switzerland?
Since arrival in such a case is generally possible, there is no entitlement to a refund. We therefore recommend that you take out travel insurance to be on the safe side. However, 100% of the cancellation amount to be paid will be credited to you for a future holiday in our hotel within 1 year.
Is there a mask requirement in the hotel and in the canton of Graubünden?
As of October 17, 2020, in the canton of Graubünden publicly accessible indoor spaces such as shops, shopping centers, post offices, museums, theaters, cinemas, libraries, train stations, hotels, administrative buildings, places of worship and restaurants and in certain areas of educational institutions are required to wear a mask. The wearing of masks is also mandatory in public transport, i.e. in buses, trains and mountain railways. Children before their 12th birthday and persons who can prove that they cannot wear face masks for special reasons, especially medical ones, are exempt from the mask requirement.
Is there a protection concept and what does it look like?
Hotellerie Suisse has designed a protection concept for the hotel industry, which includes the measures listed and must also be observed by the companies.
What does the breakfast buffet look like in general and what needs to be considered?
As usual, you can help yourself to the rich breakfast buffet in our hotel. Of course there are also a few rules here, which we ask you to adhere to.
The breakfast buffet is only accessible from one side. Please note the marking on the floor. At the beginning of the buffet we ask you to disinfect your hands and then take your own scooping utensils, which are located at the buffet. The scooping cutlery allows you to put together and scoop up your own breakfast. At the end of the buffet, put the used serving utensils back on the silver tray.
What are the distances in the dining room?
In our dining room, we have installed partition walls for our guests between the tables for breakfast and dinner, which should protect them from the viruses in close proximity.
